45% Fewer COVID-19 Cases Hospitalized in Russia Than September 10

The number of hospitalized with coronavirus as of today, September 11, amounted to 2185 people. This is 45.1% less than yesterday. 52,829 new cases of coronavirus infection were identified and 86 deaths were confirmed. 37,288 people were discharged, which is 19% less than on September 10, informs headquarters for the fight against coronavirus.

Regions-leaders in the number of cases:

  • Moscow – 6856 (total 3,097,535),
  • St. Petersburg – 3484 (1 693 425),
  • Moscow region – 1920 (1 077 765),
  • Nizhny Novgorod region – 1717 (457,001),
  • Sverdlovsk region – 1662 (487 521).

The sixth wave of coronavirus has begun in Russia. According to some experts, the increase in the incidence may last until October. At the same time, hospitalization statistics show that the course of the disease is still relatively mild.
