20-time Grand Slam winner Federer announces retirement

Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, who won 20 Grand Slam tournaments between 2003 and 2018, has announced his retirement.
Federer was the first racket of the Association of Tennis Professionals for 310 weeks. He held this status for 237 weeks in a row, which was a record.
Among the tennis player’s awards are the gold medal of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in doubles and the silver of the London 2012 Games in singles.
In total, Federer has 103 titles under the auspices of the ATP.
