1,717 Ufa residents took part in the “Run of Promises” in Ufa

Today, January 1, the sports “Run of Promises” took place throughout Bashkiria. Ufa broke the record for the number of participants. 1,717 people took to the start line, the capital’s mayor’s office reported.
In Ufa, the races were held at seven sites – in the Yarkiy microdistrict, Kashkadan, Lesovodov, Mazhit Gafuri and Demsky parks and others. However, the largest one took place on the site next to Gostiny Dvor.
Ufa athlete, Olympic champion Adelina Zagidullina, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government Irek Sagitov, State Duma deputy Rima Batalova and many others took part in the run.
After the race, a New Year’s costume competition was held, in which more than a hundred people took part.
