In Dagestan, the procedure for identifying those killed in an explosion at a gas station on the outskirts of Makhachkala, which killed 35 people, continues. This was announced on Thursday, August 17, by the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov.
The politician noted that as of August 16, 17 victims of the tragedy remained unidentified.
Regional authorities assess the needs of the victims of the explosion in material assistance. It will be provided by the state from the budget and the republic from the special fund “We are together”, and the help of patrons is also expected.
Assistance to the victims is already provided on their own initiative by individuals. State Duma deputy from Dagestan Abdulkhakim Gadzhiev brought the necessary financial assistance to the republican clinical hospital, as well as transferred his monthly salary to the relief fund.
After the tragedy in the Tabasaran district of Dagestan, it is planned to inspect the activities of transport service stations (STOs) and car filling stations (gas stations).
