1,300-year-old tricolor pottery found in China

Archaeologists have found tricolor pottery in southern China. The artifacts are at least 1.3 thousand years old. This is reported by the Xinhua news agency. The finds were made in an ancient tomb in one of the districts of the city of Jinan.
The tomb has an inscription with the date of burial. Third year of the Kaiyuan era. This is approximately 713-741 AD. Among the finds are ceramic figurines of carts, riders on horseback, camels.
Tricolor pottery has never been found in this region in such quantity. In addition, archaeologists found 20 white porcelain items there. Chinese experts claim that they have received new material to study the development of pottery in the country.
