11 sports facilities will appear in the Kherson region: two multifunctional sports grounds with a workout area, seven outdoor playgrounds and two sports and recreation complexes. In the region, two sports schools, the Stroitel stadium and the Kolos educational and sports base are also being overhauled, said Senator Igor Kastyukevich.
Gyms will be renovated in schools in Chaplynsky, Kakhovsky, Nizhneserogozsky, Skadovsky and Novotroitsky districts.
“We will visit each facility, look at the scope of work and talk with the teams and parents. Repairs need to be approached comprehensively, so that they can be done well once and then not have to return to the site again,” Kastyukevich noted.
