American Dorothy Hoffner died at the age of 104 after a record-breaking parachute jump. Hoffner became the world’s oldest skydiver, writes Associated Press.
The woman made her last jump on October 1. She was full of enthusiasm and soon planned to fly in a hot air balloon. Her friends said that she was tireless, constantly doing something and appearing at every event where she was invited.
Hoffner died at the Brookdale Lake View senior housing complex and her body was discovered on the morning of October 9.
Now the woman’s friend is preparing documents for the Guinness Book of Records so that Hoffner is officially immortalized as the oldest skydiver. Moreover, she made her first jump when she was 100 years old.
