The Regional Rapid Chess Championship took place in Bryansk. Young athletes became participants in the intellectual competition. The youngest chess players competed in the age category – born in 2016 and younger, the older ones in the 2006-2009 group.
According to the press service of the regional department of physical culture and sports, about 250 children and teenagers fought for the victory. The tournament included Swiss and round robin systems. As a result of a series of games, 30 winners and prize-winners were determined.
The event was held on the basis of the School of Chess and Checkers.
