Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory Galina Golovchenko visited the Olympic reserve sports school No. 6. She discussed with the director of the sports school Sergei Vasiliev the specifics of training athletes, their training process, as well as plans for the academic year.
Among the students are 910 athletes who engage in martial arts. Among them are winners and prize-winners of tournaments of various levels in Kyokushin karate, taekwondo, Thai boxing, and wrestling.
To make their results even better, with the assistance of the deputy, the sports school was able to purchase “Knight” protective suits. They are needed for practicing strikes in Kyokushin, as well as for protecting karatekas.
“I’m glad that the area of children’s and youth sports is developing in our region, and young athletes from an early age have a choice of what to devote themselves to,” noted Galina Golovchenko.
Earlier, MK in Sochi wrote that Galina Golovchenko spoke about renovations in 21 educational institutions.
