The West’s reluctance to investigate terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines is anti-democratic and destructive. This statement was made by the head of the Constitutional Court (CC) of Russia Valery Zorkin during the marathon of the Knowledge Society.

He said one should not be fooled by talk of a conflict between diplomatic and authoritarian values, implying a struggle between the West and Russia.

“It is anti-democracy and destruction, as the most expressive forms of legal nihilism, that we are seeing now in the sphere of international relations,” said the head of the Constitutional Court.

Zorkin also pointed out that even foreign analysts already know that gas pipelines were blown up, and they even know the people involved in this.
