Zoologists named the smartest dog breeds

Finnish scientists compared dogs of different breeds to find out which of them can be called the “smartest”. The animals were given several tasks, the performance of each of which brought “points” to the breed.
Approximately the same number of dogs of different sexes were taken for each breed, and the age of all animals was about three years, so that the results did not depend on the sex and age of individual dogs.
The “three winners” included Belgian Shepherds, Border Collies and Hovawarts, follows from a publication in the journal Scientific Reports.
