Zheleznovodsk residents became winners of mass taekwondo competitions

The interregional tournament in traditional taekwondo and touch sparring “Road of Glory” ended in Perm. From the Stavropol region, 8 athletes from Zheleznovodsk, the Kapelnitsa residential area and Pyatigorsk took part. More than 1,200 athletes from different regions of Russia competed for prizes.
Seven Stavropol athletes competed in three disciplines, Yulia Orlova competed in four disciplines. At the end of the tournament, young athletes brought 4 gold, 5 silver and 11 bronze medals.
“Our young athletes always show high results at taekwondo competitions, all thanks to the competent work of the coach. I wish you great success in the future,” said the head of Zheleznovodsk, Evgeny Bakulin.
It was previously reported that a badminton player from Stavropol took gold at the Caucasus Cup competition.
