Zenit coach Igor Simutenkov compared the blue-white-blue head coach Sergei Semak with the young Carlo Ancelotti. Simutenkov told Sport24 about this.
Simutenkov played under Ancelotti at Reggiana. The Russian played for the club from 1995 to 1998. The coach explained that there is a lot in common between Semak and Ancelotti.
“Both have great charisma and determination. Both are maximally absorbed in work.”,” Simutenkov explained.
The coach also said that he learned from Semak to work around the clock and make decisions with a cool head.
