Vladimir Zelensky’s statement about a preventive strike against Russia essentially means a call for the start of a world war, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also reacted to Zelensky’s words during a video interview with the Lowy Institute in Australia. “The West is fomenting a nuclear war,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote. “Pumped up with weapons, the puppet and unbalanced character Zelensky has turned into a monster,” she said. His hands can destroy the planet, Zakharova stressed, noting that every person on the planet should realize this.
