Podolyak urged not to consider the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a decisive battle
The planned counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) should not be considered as the only battle that determines the further course of hostilities of the current conflict. This statement was made by adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, in a comment to the Ukrainian media.
According to him, discussions around the counteroffensive look “like we are in a Hollywood movie.” Podolyak stressed that the next steps of the Ukrainian army are not a matter of a week or a month.
It is worth noting that earlier the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine stated that the counteroffensive would include the main part and “a cascade of tens and hundreds of other actions.” In turn, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already ready for an offensive and are waiting for the appropriate command.
