Russia wants to see a peaceful and stable future, any ideology of superiority is unacceptable, President Vladimir Putin said at the Victory Parade on Red Square.
“Like the vast majority of people on the planet, we want to see a peaceful, free and stable future,” Putin said at the Victory Parade.
The President also stressed that a war has been unleashed against Russia again, but the country will ensure its own security. He added that for Russia there are no unfriendly nations either in the West or in the East.
“The West provokes conflicts and upheavals, destroys traditional values in order to continue to dictate its own rules, and in fact, a system of robbery and violence. Kyiv became a hostage of the coup d’état and a bargaining chip in the hands of the West. Any ideology of superiority is disgusting, criminal and deadly, but the Western elites still talk about their exceptionalism,” the president said.
More than 10,000 military personnel and over 120 pieces of weapons and military equipment, as well as participants in the special operation, are taking part in the Victory Parade this year. Putin stressed in his speech that Russia is proud of them. According to him, the future of Russian statehood depends on them.
