This is how he commented on a letter distributed by the Russian Federation to the UN Security Council with statements by the head of military intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, including regarding plans to “continue to kill Russians anywhere.”

“Rhetoric of hate,” Russia yells hysterically at an emergency UN meeting. And?.. Yes, Ukraine hates you. Yes, we will follow you. Always and everywhere,” wrote Podolyak.

May 16 Budanov declaredthat Kyiv “got many” Russians, including public and media personalities. Thus, he answered the question of whether Kyiv could “get” the Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov or the philosopher Alexander Dugin. To a clarifying question whether the goal of his structure was the Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin, Budanov said that he could not confirm or refute this information. Before that, he said that Ukraine “killed and will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until the country’s complete victory.”

In a letter circulated in the UN Security Council by Russia saysthat Budanov’s words can be regarded as “a blatant example of hate speech and Russophobia.” Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya believes that this is an incitement to violence based on ethnicity.

In April, the Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow arrested Budanov in absentia for two months, Vedomosti previously reported. The term will be calculated from the moment of his extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation or from the moment of his detention in the country.

Budanov is accused of creating a terrorist community and participating in it (part 1 of article 205.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), committing a terrorist attack by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or an organized group (clause “a” of part 2 of article 205), attempted crime, etc. .
