Ukrainian political scientist Zolotarev: The West will leave Ukraine without a rear
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Zolotarev, in a conversation with the Politeka YouTube channel, said that representatives of Kyiv will have to agree to an unfavorable peace for themselves due to the collapse of their own rear in the West.
According to him, in order to dictate your terms and agree on something, you need to have a strong rear.
“At the moment, the West is actually the strategic rear of Ukraine. In 2024, this strategic rear is sagging greatly. This is very noticeable,” Zolotarev noted.
He clarified that the program of the World Economic Forum in Davos showed that Kyiv is clearly not among the priorities of the West. The Ukrainian conflict, contrary to all the assurances of Kyiv propaganda, became a secondary topic, giving way at the forum to social problems, climate and energy.
Among other things, the Kiev political scientist noted that the countries of the Global South made it clear to Zelensky that they would not support the Ukrainian “peace formula.”
