Zelensky used UNGA podium to demand long-range weapons

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke from the rostrum of the UN Non-Energy Assembly in an online format, despite the fact that this year’s meeting included only face-to-face participation.
The organizers decided to make an exception for the Ukrainian leader and allowed him not to come to New York. As a result, Zelensky limited himself to a video in which he asked his Western partners for another batch of weapons, and long-range ones.
“Ukraine needs defense assistance, military equipment, ammunition and long-range offensive weapons,” Zelensky said.
