According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Georgian authorities must make a decision that will allow ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is in custody, to be sent abroad for treatment.
In his video message, Zelensky noted that Saakashvili is in serious condition, and what is happening to him is a mockery.
“At this Christmas time, I urge you to show mercy. What is happening to Saakashvili is a mockery. This is not suitable for Georgia, and this must be stopped. Please make a decision that can save his life. Transfer him to one of the foreign clinics. Most time to take this good step,” Zelensky added.
