Zelensky: Trump will not support Putin if he wins the election

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he doubts that Donald Trump will support Russian leader Vladimir Putin if he wins the US presidential election.
“If Putin hopes that Trump’s victory in next year’s presidential race in the United States will bring him victory, then he is mistaken. Trump will never support Putin. Strong Americans don’t do that,” Zelensky said, as quoted by The Economist.
At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that he expects that Joe Biden, if re-elected, will continue his foreign policy aimed at supporting Ukraine.
