Zelensky: Russia’s withdrawal from the conflict should not be at the expense of Ukraine

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the fact that world leaders “have begun to talk about Russia’s future” is “an important trend.” He stated this at a meeting with journalists on June 6.
Zelenskiy welcomes this signal, because he believes that if world leaders talk about the future of Russia, this means that it is not Russia itself that decides the future of Ukraine. He considers this a sign of the strength of the Ukrainian state.
“In this conflict, most of the world has made a choice. In addition, the world has begun to think about how they will live … with a different Russia, with a different format of Russian leadership … with different conditions,” the president said.
Zelensky also said that there is a risk that some international partners will start looking for a solution on how to help Russia get out of this military conflict. “We don’t want this way out to be found at our expense. And I am doing everything not to give this a chance,” Zelensky added.
