Zelensky: Russia is betting on winter

According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Russian authorities in the military conflict made a bet on the winter to show the failure of the European Union.
In his video message, Zelensky also noted that the country needs powerful air defense systems. “An air shield for our country must be created, we discussed with French President Emmanuel Macron specific projects to strengthen our defense and restore destroyed facilities,” he said.
Zelensky stressed that Russia’s actions are a challenge for all of Europe, since Moscow will present the EU’s energy difficulties as proof of the failure of a united Europe.
