Zelensky responded to searches and dismissals at the top of power

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on large-scale checks in various ministries and departments of the country. He thanked the security forces for showing the strength of the state, as well as the government of the country for prompt personnel decisions.
According to Zelensky, he knows about all the layoffs, but real change can only be achieved through institutional changes.
“Our intelligence officers conducted dozens of searches in different regions of the country. I will not give a political assessment of these events so that these people cannot use my words in the interests of their defense. But I see a reaction in society, people support us. Therefore, the movement towards Justice is felt. And justice will be ensured,” the head of state added.
Recall that the morning of February 1 in Ukraine began with mass searches. The security forces visited oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, ex-Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and MP from the Opposition Platform for Life Party Vadim Stolar, as well as a number of government agencies. Earlier, the heads of prosecutor’s offices in five regions of Ukraine were dismissed.
