Zelensky on conflict settlement: we don’t need mediators, we need a just peace
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about possible mediators in the negotiations between Moscow and Kiev to resolve the conflict. He believes that his country does not need mediators.
“With all due respect to His Holiness, we do not need mediators, we need a just world,” the head of the Ukrainian state said on the air of a program on state television Rai1.
Zelensky himself said that during his conversation with Pope Francis, he insisted on resolving the conflict only through the “peace formula”, which had previously been proposed by the Ukrainian side.
In addition, the President of Ukraine once again announced that he was not going to talk with Vladimir Putin, as there was “nothing to talk about.”
