President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky by his decree imposed sanctions against 51 individuals and 220 organizations. Documentation published on the official website of the Ukrainian President.
All individuals included in the list are citizens of Russia. Among the organizations that fell under the restrictions of the Ukrainian authorities were companies related to railways – the Road Implementation Center of the Kaliningrad Railway, the Road Center for the Implementation of New Equipment and Technologies of the West Siberian Railway, etc.
The list was also supplemented by other industrial organizations, in particular, Nizhegorodspetsstal, the Scientific Research Machine-Building Institute. Vyacheslav Bakhirev and others.
The sanctions also applied to a number of foreign companies registered in Germany, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Belgium.
In mid-May, Zelensky once again replenished sanctions list. Then the list included individuals and legal entities associated with the Zaporizhstal enterprise (part of the Metinvest group of Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov).
The list includes 13 individuals – all are citizens of Armenia. The list of organizations included 28 legal entities associated with the metallurgical plant, in particular, the Russian corporation VEB.RF, as well as companies registered in Cyprus, the UK, Ukraine, etc.
