Zelensky appoints former SBU and police officers as heads of three regions

According to the Ukrainian agency Strana.ua, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on the appointment of three new heads of the Dnipropetrovsk and parts of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The regions, after the resignation of the former governors, will be headed by Sergei Lysak, Yuri Malashko and Aleksandra Prokudin, respectively.
All of them were previously employees of the SBU and the police. So, Malashko headed the anti-terrorist center under the SBU, Lysak is the head of the SBU department in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and Prokudin served as head of the National Police of the Kherson region.
“There were presidential decrees on the appointment of new heads of regional administrations: the Dnipropetrovsk region – Sergei Lysak, the Zaporozhye region – Yuri Malashko, the Kherson region – Alexander Prokudin,” the report says.
