The Hromadske TV channel reported that Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky became the deputy of the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
Let us recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree appointing Sukharevsky to this position.
It is specified that in April 2014 Sukharevsky led the 3rd company of the 80th airmobile brigade, which was located in the Slavyansk region, near the village of Semenovka. The TV channel notes that it was he who fired the “first shot” from the Ukrainian side in Donbass.
According to the TV channel, in his new position Sukharevsky will be responsible for the development of the use of drones and unmanned systems.
