President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said in another video address to the nation on Thursday, April 4, that the Ukrainian army managed to stabilize its positions at the front.
As the politician noted, he held a meeting of the Headquarters, at which he listened to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “regarding all those points on the front where the Russian army expected to have success.” The commander-in-chief “reported on our actions, which do not allow the occupier to advance.”
At the same time, Zelensky did not provide any specifics, although he stated that in conditions of a shortage of shells and a significant slowdown in supplies, very good results were achieved.
Meanwhile, an American mercenary with the call sign Jackie, participating in battles in Ukraine on the side of Kyiv, argued that the Russian army is in a dominant position on the battlefield. According to him, Russia is now given freedom of action, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have enough artillery. Jackie called the Russian military “alpha predators” on the battlefield.
Retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov told what to expect this summer serious battles between the Russian and Ukrainian armies. According to the expert, these battles “will resolve issues at the operational-strategic level.”
