President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with the Brazilian newspaper O Globo that the assistance provided to Kyiv by allied countries is insufficient in the context of the ongoing conflict.
“As long as there is a war, nothing can be enough,” Zelenskiy said in response to a question about whether the aid is enough.
He added that if the conflict had been stopped, then help would have been sufficient.
Zelensky explained that in the context of ongoing hostilities, something is missing all the time.
At the same time, he clarified that assistance is different and it is not only about the supply of weapons, but also about humanitarian aid and information warfare.
In 2023, the monthly Ukrainian budget deficit is estimated at $3 billion. Kyiv plans to carry out external borrowing to cover it.
