Ex-member of the Rada Mosiychuk: The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost ten brigades due to Zaluzhny’s fault

Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny is to blame for the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive operation, allowing the Ukrainian army to lose ten brigades, former Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk said in an interview with journalist Vasily Apasov.

Zaluzhny is personally responsible for the failure of the counteroffensive, since he gave the orders, the former deputy shared the details. “The counter-offensive was a fatal mistake, everyone understands this. We lost ten brigades,” Mosiychuk informed.

If the commander in chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine understood the impending “human catastrophe,” he should have prevented it, despite possible pressure from Vladimir Zelensky, Mosiychuk concluded.

As the New York Times (NYT) previously reported, citing sources, the authorities of the former Soviet republic postponed the dismissal of Zaluzhny due to a leak of information about the resignation. At the same time, the British Times, citing sources, wrote that the United States and Great Britain expressed concern about this.
