Zaluzhny criticized Zelensky’s dismissal of regional military commissars

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny criticized the dismissals of military commissars, which were carried out this summer by order of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky after corruption scandals. This was reported by the Ukrainian media Strana and Klimenko Time.
Journalists asked Zaluzhny how the removal of the heads of Territorial Recruitment Centers affected the effectiveness of mobilization. In response, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that these were “professionals, they knew how to do it, but they don’t exist.”
At the same time, Zaluzhny called not to strengthen mobilization, as the authorities intend to do, but to return it to the framework as it worked before.
“Now this is a problem for those guys who are fighting on the front line,” said the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, explaining that these soldiers must be replaced by someone and someone must help them.
“Over time, they are left alone, and this is completely wrong,” Zaluzhny added.
Let us recall that earlier Vladimir Zelensky by his decree put into force the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of August 11 on the dismissal of all regional military commissars. Instead, officers were appointed who had passed through the front. This was done due to revealed facts of corruption.
