The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, wrote in her Telegram channel on Sunday that she expects Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to “bring Khryusha and Stepashka under sanctions,” since now “Angelina Vovk” threatens the national security of Ukraine.
Earlier it became known that Zelensky imposed sanctions against cultural figures, journalists and bloggers associated with Russia. 198 people got under them. Among them are producer Yana Rudkovskaya, director Andrey Konchalovsky, and TV presenter Angelina Vovk.
Zakharova, on this occasion, mocked that “her two accomplices should even be banned,” referring to the characters of the puppet theater – the pig Khryusha and the hare Stepashka, with whom Vovk hosted the program “Good night, kids.”
At the same time, she added that “perhaps the President of Ukraine does not touch his own, and he will carry the puppets.”
