TASS: three servicemen in the Belgorod region were killed due to the detonation of ammunition

Three servicemen died as a result of the detonation of ammunition in the House of Culture of the Tonenkoye farm in the Korochansky district of the Belgorod region, informed TASS with reference to emergency services.

The interlocutor of the agency said that another 15 people were injured as a result of the explosion. “The preliminary cause of the explosion is the careless handling of ammunition,” he was quoted as saying.

Earlier in the day, the detonation of ammunition in the Belgorod region also informed TASS with reference to emergency services. Initially, it was reported that 10 people were injured, 15 people from houses located near the House of Culture were evacuated.

The 112 Telegram channel also reports on the fire and writes that on January 14, a senior sergeant detonated an RGD-5 hand grenade in the location, after which the ammunition that was in the weapons storage room detonated. The channel also claims that as a result of the incident, three servicemen were killed, 16 people were injured, and eight were missing.
