Russia will open diplomatic missions in Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea by the end of the year. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. She stressed that discussions on technical issues were already beginning.
President Vladimir Putin announced the resumption of the work of Russian diplomatic missions in these countries at the Russia-Africa summit. Diplomats will come to work in Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea after a thirty-year break.
On July 31, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed all relevant orders.
