Zakharova commented on Kyiv’s statement about the strike on the Crimean bridge

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the Kiev regime terrorist after the words of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar about the attack on the Crimean bridge.

“Terrorist Regime” wrote Zakharov in her Telegram channel, commenting on the words of a Ukrainian official.

According to a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Kyiv has begun “a plan to save itself.” She stated that now Ukraine is “systematically causing damage” to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Zakharova expressed the opinion that the forthcoming NATO summit should be devoted to the topic of station security, since most of the countries of the alliance could be in the zone of direct destruction.

July 8 in his Telegram channel Maliar, summing up 500 days since the start of hostilities in Ukraine, wrote: “273 days since the first blow was struck on the Crimean bridge in order to disrupt the Russians’ logistics.”

Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, commenting on these words, notedthat Crimea is not in the zone of a special operation, therefore, “by declaring its authorship in carrying out a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, Ukraine officially confirms the terrorist nature of its state.”

On October 8, 2022, a truck was blown up on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula. Seven fuel tanks of a train set on fire in the direction of the Crimean peninsula caught fire. As a result, the motor spans of the bridge partially collapsed, killing four people. A criminal case on terrorism has been opened, eight people have been arrested.

Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed Ukraine’s special services for the attack on the Crimean bridge. On October 12, the FSB of Russia reported that the organizer of the attack was the head of the military intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.
