Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow considers the “peace formula” for Ukraine proposed by President Zelensky to be out of touch with reality.
Recall that earlier Volodymyr Zelensky announced the steps that will bring peace on the territory of Ukraine. In his opinion, it is necessary to continue the “achieved solidarity” in the supply of weapons and to fulfill the “peace formula” that the representatives of Ukraine proposed earlier.
According to a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow drew attention to Zelensky’s appeal to the leaders of the G7, in which he spoke about “the demand for the sponsors of the Kyiv regime to provide them with additional financial and military support, for Russia to start withdrawing troops by Christmas.”
“In his address, Zelensky also addressed the rest of the world. He announced the need to convene a global summit on the implementation, divorced from the reality of his “peace formula”. Russia, in turn, has repeatedly stated that the Kiev regime is responsible for abandoning diplomacy,” Zakharova said.
She clarified that “one cannot expect any adequacy” from the current authorities in Kyiv.
