Attacks by Kyiv with the help of drones on the Russian regions speak of the lack of development prospects for the Kyiv regime. About it stated Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Sputnik radio.
“The agony of the Kyiv regime is obvious, this stupid hatred and anger and the absence of any prospects in their own development, in development according to the scenario of the West. All this led to terrorist activities. <…> An absolute dead end,” she said.
On the night of August 30, Kyiv with the help of drones committed a massive attack on five regions of Central Russia, as well as the Pskov region and Sevastopol. In particular, the Bryansk region was attacked several times. Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced the destruction of six drones. Administration of Bryansk statedthat the building of the regional IC was damaged due to the destruction of the drone. According to Bogomaz, Kyiv also tried to attack the TV tower with the help of drones.
After the drone attack on the Pskov airport canceled all flights on August 30th. At night, Governor Mikhail Vedernikov reported that the Ministry of Defense was repelling the blow. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, but the Il-76 aircraft were damaged.
The Foreign Ministry has repeatedly condemned Kyiv’s attacks on Russian regions and declared about the “right to take strong retaliatory measures”. August 25, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov notedthat Russian air defense systems work effectively against drone attacks. He drew attention to the fact that terrorist activity is mainly aimed at residential buildings and facilities.
