Zakharova announced the silence of the UN data on the sexual slavery of Ukrainian women in Europe

The real threat to Ukrainian women does not come from Russia, but awaits them in Europe, Sweden, in particular, has data on Ukrainian women falling into sexual slavery, and the UN is silent about this situation, stated in her Telegram channel, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

According to her, the Swedish Ministry of Equality recently issued a statement stating that “it is the Ukrainian refugees who are increasingly becoming victims of pimping and falling into sexual slavery.” Kyiv and the international community did not react to these data, although, as Zakharova writes, the Swedish media “has been filled with numerous reports about the rapes” of Ukrainian refugees for a month now.

“But the UN and human rights structures are silent, because drawing attention to a real humanitarian problem is not in their rules. Or because they are working out another political order. To be honest, both of these options are worse,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Zakharova also recalled that earlier the Ukrainian side and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Pramila Patten accused the Russian military of sexual violence against Ukrainian women. Now, according to her, it has become clear that they “are lying shamelessly,” and the UN admitted that the organization has “no reliable information” about this.

Earlier, Patten said that the Russian military is using Viagra to rape Ukrainian women. According to her, this is part of Russia’s “military strategy”. The Russian Foreign Ministry called such statements beyond the bounds of reason, which cannot be seriously commented on. Adviser to the Permanent Mission to the UN Fyodor Strzhizhovsky declaredthat Russia considers unacceptable dissemination by UN representatives of unreliable information, sometimes bordering on the absurd.
