Yuzhnouralsk water polo club will start the “Final Four” in a leading position

Two teams of the sports club “Uralochka” show success in the current sports season. The main team takes the first place in the Final Four, and the junior team takes the gold of the Higher League of the Russian Championship. This was reported by the press service of the water polo club “Uralochka”.

The main team playing in the country’s Superleague has officially taken the lead in the Final Four. This happened two matches before the end of the regular Championship, at the game against Kinef from Kirishi, the principal rival of the South Ural athletes.

The first game period “Kinef” left behind – 4:3. Uralochka did not put up with the situation, snatched the initiative and took the lead. The third quarter was played in a draw – 3:3. In the final part of the playing time, the South Urals water polo players increased the gap in the score and beat Kinef by four goals. The match ended with a score of 13:10 in favor of athletes from the Chelyabinsk region.

Now the water polo players are waiting for the start of the Final Four. It will take place in May.

Athletes of the young “Uralochka” successfully completed their performances in the Higher League of the Championship of Russia. The water polo players did their best at the final round in St. Petersburg and took the gold medals for themselves.
