Vsevolod Komarov, defender of the Quebec Remparts, became the winner of the Canadian Hockey League and the Memorial Cup as part of the club. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The Remparts beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-0 in the playoff final. Vsevolod Komarov from South Urals scored the first goal into the opponent’s goal.
The team, which is played by a native of the Chelyabinsk region – “Quembec Remparts”, won the Memorial Cup for the third time. Prior to that, the club received the award in 1971 and 2006.
Vsevolod Komarov signed a three-year contract with the Buffalo Sabers of the National Hockey League at the end of May. A native of the Southern Urals was selected in the fifth round of the 2022 draft.
