Vice Speaker of the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies, head of the Nordman Table Tennis Club Yuri Sorokin donated a ping-pong table to the Center for Helping Orphans in the Pechora District. Yuri Sorokin announced this on his Vkontakte page.
The deputy stressed that he seeks to popularize this sport among the youth of the Pskov region. To do this, she provides budget institutions in the region that work with children with tennis tables.
“I hope that the guys will be happy to train and improve their skills,” Yuri Sorokin emphasized and reminded that this week marks the International Table Tennis Day.
“This game brings together people of different ages, helps to develop dexterity, attentiveness and endurance. It is important that now in most districts of our region, children are involved in this sport,” the deputy concluded.
