Yuri Antonov mourns the departure of Alexander Shirvindt. The legendary actor died in hospital due to heart problems. Alexander Anatolyevich did not live to see his 90th birthday only a few months. Antonov believes that Shirvindt’s health problems did not happen without reason. Yuri Antonov shared his version of the death of Alexander Anatolyevich with MK correspondents.

“I am very sorry for his loved ones and relatives,” sighs Yuri Mikhailovich. – I personally knew Shirvindt. He is a wonderful person, we had a wonderful relationship. We always communicated warmly with him. Shirvindt is one of those people who liked to tease a little. He always had a sense of humor. Unfortunately, what happened happened.

Antonov knows that in recent years Alexander Anatolyevich has experienced serious health problems. Several years ago he had heart surgery. He also recovered from coronavirus. And lately Shirvindt had been walking around with a cane, which irritated him greatly. At the same time, Alexander Anatolyevich did not like to talk about his problems. When they asked him about his health, he waved it off: “Old age is not joy.”

Antonov believes that Shirvindt’s health problems began for a reason.

“This is all the belching of youth,” continues Yuri Mikhailovich. – When a person is young, he does not think about old age, about the age at which we are. So he drinks and eats well. And then all this will regurgitate. One hundred percent will burp. You need to think about old age when you are young.

Antonov believes that Shirvindt’s departure was an irreparable loss from which the Russian theater scene will not be able to recover for a long time.

“I’m very sorry for Shirvindt, very sorry,” Antonov complains. – Our theater scene has lost a great man. Everyone knew him, everyone treated him with respect. It is very difficult when such people leave.

Let us remind you that the funeral of Alexander Shirvindt will take place tomorrow, March 18th. Farewell to the legendary artist will take place in his native Satire Theater. After which he will be buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
