YouTube removed the channel “Goblin” Puchkov

The YouTube channel of blogger Dmitry Puchkov, better known under the pseudonym “Goblin”, was removed by the service’s management due to violations of community rules. This was announced by Mr. Puchkov himself in his Telegram channelby attaching a screenshot of the message from the administration of the video hosting.
In dialogue with RBC Mr. Puchkov stressed that he had not received any warnings from YouTube before the channel was deleted.
Goblin rose to prominence as a translator of foreign films and series in the 2000s. In the 2010s, he became famous as a political commentator and publicist speaking from pro-Kremlin positions. In videos on the YouTube channel, he supported the Russian military operation, and previously spoke critically about the change of power in Ukraine in 2014.
