From February 12 to 14 in Arkhangelsk at the Dynamo stadium, as part of the Young Dynamo winter sports festival, a stage of the North-West Children’s Hockey League was held. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
12 teams from the Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions, as well as the Komi Republic, took part in it. The competition was held in two age groups: born in 2013. and born 2014-2015 In each of them, the strongest ice team was identified through a round-robin tournament. As a result, without losing a single point, the winners were the team “Vodnik-2013” and “Vodnik-2015”. Also winners of the competition were young hockey players from Monchegorsk, Syktyvkar and Arkhangelsk.
– The bandy tournament as part of the “Young Dynamo” winter sports festival has long firmly taken its rightful place in the calendar of sports schools in the North-Western part of our country. Its holding undoubtedly contributes to the development of Russian hockey. It’s great that most often the winners of these competitions are Vodnik’s youth teams,” said Igor Gapanovich, Chairman of the Arkhangelsk Region Bandy Federation.
