Young Vologda residents won medals at the All-Russian kickboxing competitions

Representatives of the children’s martial arts school in Vologda performed at the end of November at the All-Russian kickboxing tournament in Yekaterinburg. Two disciplines of this sport were presented at the competitions – “full contact” and “K1”. In total, 687 participants from 24 subjects of the country competed for medals together with the Vologda residents.
So, young athletes of the regional capital managed to win as many as five medals. The guys brought two silver and three bronze medals to Vologda.
In addition, it is worth noting the success of the little Vologda chess players who continue to participate in the Northwest Championship. Competitions are held in St. Petersburg. Here, the Vologda residents have also become owners of five medals.
Gold was brought to the team by 9-year-old Mira Zhdanova. Two more athletes won silver and the same number won bronze.
