Young Kostroma residents brought gold and silver medals from the World Unifight Championship

The Regional Committee for Youth Affairs informs that pupils of the Kostroma cadet corps and the Dynamo school became the winners of the World Championship in universal combat, held in the city of Sochi from September 5 to 11.
Cadet Sergei Tverdokhleb has already become a two-time winner of the World Championship, and Dynamo player Pavel Kalashnikov won two medals at the championship – a bronze medal in the wrestling discipline and a silver medal in the hand-to-hand combat category.
Upon arrival in their native Kostroma, the winners were greeted by relatives, representatives of the regional Committee for Youth Affairs, fellow cadets and Yunarmiya members.
The victorious young men at the meeting said that they dedicated their victories to the fighters participating in the hostilities in Ukraine and in the future they themselves are going to connect their lives with service in the army special forces.
