Young Kirov residents took medals at the All-Russian trampoline competition

Kirov residents represented the city at the All-Russian trampolining competition “Yaroslav the Wise Cup”. The competition was held in Yaroslavl and traditionally hosted the country’s strongest athletes in this Olympic discipline.

This time, 290 athletes from 16 regions of Russia competed for medals. The judges had to evaluate flight height, movement on the grid and technical execution in individual and synchronized jumps on the trampoline, tumbling track and double mini-trampoline.

Pupils of sports school No. 1 of Kirov once again proved their high sportsmanship.

Savely Kiselev won first place on the acrobatic track among 9-10 year olds. Another young Kirov resident, Andrey Mezentsev, received a bronze award. At the age of 17 and older, Danil Spitsyn performed successfully in the masters of sports program, eventually rising to the third step of the podium.

Let us add that trainers and teachers Elena Peresheina and Pavel Tokarev helped the athletes achieve high results and adequately represent the Kirov region.
