Young judokas from Kalmykia brought two bronze medals of the SFD championship

Ice Petyaev Ice (73 kg) and Alexandra Matsakova (44 kg) became bronze medalists of the Southern Federal District judo championship among boys and girls under 15 years old. Both of them are pupils of the Wrestling Academy and the Judo Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Our athletes got medals in a tough fight – more than 40 people competed in each weight category. In total, more than 450 best athletes from all over the district gathered at the tournament.
The other members of the Kalmyk national team also performed with dignity, they lacked quite a bit to win prizes, commented at the Ministry of Sports of Kalmykia.
The Southern Federal District judo championship among boys and girls under 15 years old was held in Armavir, Krasnodar Territory from March 1 to 4.
