Young Ivanovo taekwondo athletes became winners and prize-winners of the Central Federal District Championship

On February 21–23, the Central Federal District Taekwondo Championship was held in Ryazan. 360 boys and girls from 12 to 14 years old from 14 regions of the Central Federal District took part in the competition.
The competitions are important: the region whose representatives won first place in one of the weight categories receives an additional ticket to the Russian Championship in this category.
Our region was represented at the Championship by students from sports school No. 7.
The gold medalists of the Championship were:
- Roman Trenin;
- Artyom Korshunov;
- Polina Kim.
Bronze medals from the Championship were brought to:
- Milana Anisenko;
- Valeria Yurkina;
- Sofia Bryukhanova.
The guys performed successfully at the Championship thanks to intensive training and their coaches: Artyom Anisenko, Dmitry Manshin, Arzuman Kazaryan, Leonid Kim, Artyom Baryshnikov and Alexander Makarov.
